Ashley H. Leavitt

About
Ashley Leavitt is a dedicated attorney and founder of Holbrook Leavitt & Associates. Her journey to the legal profession was unconventional but deeply rooted in a passion for advocacy. Ashley earned her undergraduate degree in music education from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, and spent four years as a music teacher before budget cuts led her to explore a new career path. She took a position as a paralegal at a local law firm to make ends meet and, after attending her first jury trial, discovered her true calling. A year later, she enrolled at the University of Tulsa College of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2016 and passed the bar the same year.
The defining moment of Ashley’s career was founding Holbrook Leavitt & Associates. The overwhelming support she has received from past clients, public adjusters, and even opposing attorneys has reinforced her commitment to providing exceptional legal representation.
Ashley takes a strategic yet empathetic approach to insurance claims, believing in the adage that “you catch more flies with honey.” She works diligently to give insurance companies the opportunity to do the right thing while holding them accountable when they fail to meet their obligations. Recognizing that claims handling is increasingly automated, she leverages each case to refine strategies that streamline the process for future clients.
As a homeowner and policyholder herself, Ashley deeply understands her clients’ frustrations and concerns. Whether a client simply wants their claim paid to move forward or seeks to challenge an insurer on principle, she is committed to securing fair and timely resolutions. Her goal is to help as many people as possible navigate complex insurance claims with confidence and clarity.
Known for her strong communication skills, Ashley ensures that her clients remain informed and comfortable throughout the legal process. A former employer once described her as having the “gift of gab,” a trait that allows her to connect with clients and anticipate their needs. One of her favorite client testimonials reads, “Everything happened almost exactly like she said it would,” a testament to her transparency and effectiveness.
Originally from Boone, Iowa, Ashley’s career has taken her across the Midwest. After teaching orchestra in Kansas, she met her husband, a Ponca City, Oklahoma native, and later settled in Skiatook, where they enjoy spending time on the lake with their son. Outside of her legal practice, she remains passionate about music and plays piano, bass guitar, cello, and violin with the praise band at Riveted Church in Skiatook.
